I am not certain if I ever shared the story of my teacup. We had recently moved to Terrace, and I wasn't convinced it was the best decision. My husband, Lawrence, showed me a cute store and said I should go in there. I eventually did ( strange, but I don't enjoy shopping). When I did, I felt there was something uniquely there for me. Eventually, I found, tucked in the far back of an antique cabinet was for sale, this antique cup and saucer. I recognized it immediately.
When I was little, my mother had given me her old china set to play with for my pretend tea parties. My sister, Raye, might recall remarking how spoiled I was to have real china set so young.
To imagine a teacup from my childhood in Cornwall, Ontario would be found across the country intact and waiting for me to claim ownership...wow.
Anyhow, this little treasure let me know I was okay and right where I needed to be. I believe these magical signs are available for all of us to see. We need only search for them and give thanks when they appear.
Blessings,
MJ
